Oh Christmas Tree!
Well, it's finally time when we think, "Hey, maybe we should pull out our shrimpy little tree." People have been giving us some flack, but that wouldn't make us do it. Then people got even worse on us by saying, "Oh? You're going to put up a tree?" Jinkies. We always at least put up our shrimply little tree. I just don't like how the Christmas season starts on Halloween. Call me crazy. I generally put it up once I start to get presents in the mail or I start to wrap my own. Caspian's departure this week makes it a little bit more pressing as well. We tried to do it yesterday, but just didn't seem to get around to it. Well, hopefully, I'll have some lovely pics later for you.

We don't put our tree up early either, for the longest time we didn't put it up until a day or two before Christmas, but the kids like to decorate it themselves now and put it up a little bit sooner. I take that sucker down before New Years too!
Loretta, you are a woman after my own heart. Have you been to Heather's new blog? She is grappling with guilt over this. Bah!
