Love Online Shopping? (I do.)

If you love being in your pajamas while you shop, adore missing the crowds, and get giddy when your wares are delivered right to your doorstep, you need to check out my fellow blogger, Colleen's, newest blog baby, BuyMeBlog.

Colleen really knows her way around the internet, so much so that she even speaks geek. But that is a different story. I'm here to talk about how you can use her internet savvy to your advantage in finding the best in online shopping, and avoiding the worst. I think she says it best in her intro to BuyMeBlog, "From products and gear you can’t live without, to those things you shouldn’t ever buy that are often featured on late night TV. Don’t blame us if your credit card bill increases after reading this blog."

Not only is the site attractive and useful, but you get Colleen's sassy style throughout, which makes it a fun place to traverse. I like that the site is full of honest opinions, including a thumbs down section, where she talks about her shopping bummers so we don't have to experience them ourselves.

I think I just fell in love with one of her better finds, however: 600 thread count sheets for $50? Good Lord! I worked in a linen store for over a year, and I can tell you that the higher the thread count, the better the sheet. Back in the day (early 90s), most sheets were about 180 thread count. The nicer ones were 200 ct. I think both manufacturers and consumers are getting savvier, because thread count is a big deal these days. 600 ct, though. Mmmmmm. And $50 is a good price for king-size sheets. Not only that, she also gives you a coupon code. Rock it, Colleen! Do you think those are too nice to occasionally be peed on by a toddler? Naaaah.

I've also been holding out on buying window treatments, but maybe I should start thinking about it. I suppose a job might be in order first?

Allright, so here's my standard line as it applies to BuyMeBlog: Go there. Now. Go. Go on. Go. (I think I always say that standard line differently. I guess it's a standard sentiment.)
