Protein Power
I had been putting off getting protein powder because it's so expensive. I'd been waiting and waiting and I finally decided I wouldn't wait anymore. I'm telling you, it makes all the difference for me in being able to stick to better eating habits. I find my body craves protein. When I'm hungry I could eat carbs until the cows come home. Hopefully, the cows come home early, because maybe then I'll stop eating carbs. Ok, that was a crazy digression. I lost it on my eating goals yesterday, but I'm back on track today and having snacks and breakfast that include the good ole protein powder are really making a difference. It leaves me feeling much more satisfied. Just thought I'd share.

Is this the protein powder that they sell in the produce area with the tofu? (I used to be vegetarian can you believe it?! I'm such a freak.) Or is this the creepy GNC protein powder? Is there even a difference I wonder other than packaging and presentation. Hmm... thinking now...
Well, I actually had a protein powder I liked from GNC, but I think they discontinued it! I tend not to like things that are pure whey. I also have to avoid soy. I generally look for some kind of egg and whey mix. That's the one the GNC discontinued. I wonder if they have it here though. Hmmm. So, I've found some other ones that a mix of all different kind of proteins and those are ok. It's still an acquired taste. :)
