Did I tell you what a great student Caspian is?

We went to Caspian's teacher conferences yesterday. His teacher had lots of nice things to say about his intelligence, participation and work effort. Of course, he has a couple things to work on, but hey, we all do. He's been making good grades and fitting in well to his new school. Kudos to Caspian.

I really liked the format of the conference. The student is involved (in my day, they shut us out while they talked about is from another room). He read some of his work to us. And then we all talked about goals together, with the teacher writing down goals that Caspian himself made up in different subject areas. Very nice!
